Gurney Consulting Engineers provided the structural and civil consultancy services for this 3-bay retail unit. The existing steelwork was cut down and a taller new steel frame was spliced to the stubs of the existing columns to make use of the existing sub-structure whilst providing additional internal height to allow the installation of mezzanines.
